Alright British Columbians, who’s been to a local restaurant that doesn’t carry the Burrowing Owl Pinot Gris? My guess would be very few and its understandable, this Pinot Gris is very well made. It has the kind of acidity and pineapple notes that pair so well with many foods, but its not so overwhelming that you can’t drink it alone. The only problem is that the wine is allocated almost exclusively to restaurants, so its very difficult to find it elsewhere. I want to say….MAKE MORE FOR THE COMMON FOLK!!!!… but I know that is a recipe for disaster… so I will relegate myself to spending the extra dollars to have a bottle of this quintessential BC Pinot Gris at the local watering holes..
